Actually looks nice, well done and tasteful. Although I am not a fan of 4 doors, yours looks good.

What year is your Jeep? Also, really like the blacked out grille.. we were thinking of buying an Unlimited but this was in '07 before the Pentastar V6 went in.

The 3.8 is not a bad engine either. If you are not lookin at adding big tires and all sorts of accessories, the 3.8 is powerful enough. Albeit, it doesnt do as well in the mpgs but still decent (15 - 17 avg.). If you can get your hands on a pentastar do it. More power, better mpgs, and so far more reliable. Beware though, the 12's had a head issues that was a recall on a per instance bassis. Most of these have been fixed, but just an FYI.

Our main concern was the gas mileage, which is still keeping us from them. We came from a '96 Jeep Cherokee and ended up with a 07 Honda Pilot, not realizing how bad the mileage would be. The Pentastar imporved the mileage, but still not enough to justify it. If they put the diesel in there, we would be sold. A Wrangler with so much torque and easily 30 MPG? No brainer!

Really? Thats impressive... We average 16 in the Pilot... I'd much rather have a Jeep.

The majority of my driving is highway so that helps, but I also commute during prime traffic hours, while its not all stop and go, it is a slow crawl in 2nd / 3rd gear <30 mph. Mine is the 6 speed manual (over the 5 speed auto) but also has the upgraded factory gears from 3.21(standard) to 3.73.

So basically if you are looking for something fun but don't plan on modding it, a factory fresh model, driven in a fuel efficient manner, should get you somewhere around the 20 mpg mark.

You should plasti dip the wheels, too. They'd look badass in black while matching the grille and contrasting the white body.
